Novaris ECD surge protectors provides a means to electrically clamp different earthing systems together during transient disturbances, thereby limiting the damaging potential differences normally seen during a surge. Once the disturbance has passed the earth clamp will automatically reset and electronic systems can return to normal operation, thereby minimising costly downtime.
